A theological intervention disguised as vocal harmony.
Bat Qolective is a theological intervention disguised as vocal harmony. A post-denominational frum harmony collective that smuggles subversive midrash into punk, folk, and pop song forms, BQ are trying to widen tradition until it can hold them.
The intervention is real. The intervenors — Rami, Bebe, Wicki, and J — are fictional. Every song they sing is written by Arie Chark, and has been since 1985.
